Hi! I'm Bess Hamilton.
I'm a word nerd who has strong opinions on prescriptive vs. descriptive dictionaries, but who also loves the expressive possibilities of modern slang. As for the Oxford comma, I let a client's preferred style guide make that decisions for me.
I have two decades of experience in writing and editing in the public and private sectors. In that time, I've embraced the storytelling possibilities of new tools and technology while remaining focused on the fundamentals of strong writing.
Beyond my work experience, I have an Honors B.A. in English Language and Literature from Western University (London, ON) and a diploma in Technical Writing from Fanshawe College (London, ON).
